In Sikhism, true Seva (selfless service) must be without desire (Nishkam), guileless (Nishkapat), in humility (Nimarta), with purity of intention (Hirda Shuddh), with sincerity (Chit-Laae) and in utter selflessness (Vichon Aap Gavaae). Such Seva is the doorway to dignity as well as to Mukti (liberation).Underlining Nishkam’s commitment to the social welfare and the importance of its Sewa for the needy and downtrodden through various welfare projects of Nishkam, Dr. Nanra said: “We are pleased that Nishkam has reached this milestone with the generous cooperation and support of Saadh Sangat and we are looking forward to provide better quality care to patients.”.Master Harbans Singh was a dedicated Sewadar of Nishkam, who came in the Nishkam’s fold in the most difficult times of 1984 -1985. He was a teacher by profession and rendered his valuable and dedicated services upto November, 1993, when while coming back fromAmritsar, after completing a sewa mission, he met with an accident and departed from this world along with his wife.
